Lamb Hass are in season at the ranch. I would describe Lamb Hass as tasting like a cross between a Hass and Fuerte avocado. Creamy, buttery and excellent. This variety was developed by the UC Breeding program and patented in 1996. They are black when ripe and have more of a bell shape than the more common Hass.
